120 Dasan Call and local government lines
Everyday administrative questions go to your city or district call centre. In Seoul it is 120 (Dasan Call); other areas run 120 or their own main number.

Is 120 the number in my area too? Some local governments outside Seoul use 120, but it is not nationwide. Check the city or district website. If unsure, call 110 and they will direct you to the right agency.
Is foreign language support available? Seoul 120 offers foreign language counselling. Elsewhere it varies by local government, so ask first. Use 1345 or 1577-1366 alongside if you need interpretation.
Does it cost money? Standard call charges apply.

120 is not an emergency number. For crime, fire and medical emergencies call 112 or 119.
