1577-1366 connects you to counselling in 13 languages, 24 hours a day. If you are experiencing domestic or sexual violence, or an urgent problem in daily life, you can talk in your own language.
Who needs this
- Marriage migrants and their families
- Migrant women affected by domestic violence, sexual violence or trafficking
- Any foreign resident in an urgent situation who needs interpretation
Steps
- Call 1577-1366. It is answered at any hour.
- Say your language. A counsellor or interpreter for that language is connected.
- Explain the situation. You do not have to give your name.
- Ask for emergency protection if you need it — shelter, accompaniment to a hospital or to the police.
- Get connected to follow-up support such as legal advice, translation, or Family Center programmes.
Documents
Nothing is needed for a phone consultation. Identity documents may be requested for shelter admission or legal support.
