Using a Family Center
Family Centers are free public services for marriage migrants and their families. Korean classes, interpretation and help with children's schooling are all arranged in one place.
Who needs this
- Marriage migrants, their spouses and children
- Children who arrived in Korea mid-way through school
- Some programmes are open to other foreign residents, depending on the center
Steps
- Find the nearest center through the Danuri portal or by calling 1577-1366.
- Call or visit for a consultation. You can ask for interpretation.
- Register for the programme you want. Popular classes fill up before each term.
- Ask about home visits if you cannot travel to the center.

What if I speak no Korean at all? That is fine. Many centers have interpreters, and 1577-1366 can explain in your language first.
