Getting set up
- Register — you can sign up with your alien registration number.
- Verify your identity — mobile verification, joint certificate. A phone in your own name is needed.
- If verification fails, visiting the community centre is the reliable route. See community-center.

Questions people ask
Is it Korean only? Some English guidance exists but most of it is Korean. Use browser translation or visit the community centre.
Identity verification fails. It fails if the phone isn't in your name or details differ from your alien registration. Check the name on the account with your carrier or use the community centre. See phone-verification.
I have no printer. Use the community centre or an unmanned document kiosk. Convenience store printing services also exist.
Are there fees? It depends on the document. Online issuance is sometimes cheaper or free.

Beware fake sites and texts impersonating Gov24. Always confirm the address is www.gov.kr, and never enter through a link in a text message. Such scams steal personal data and money. See voice-phishing.
