Paying visa and residence fees

Always keep the receipt. You need it to confirm processing and to raise any dispute.

Payment methods

1. HiKorea online application — electronic payment (card or transfer). See hikorea-online-application.
2. In person at an immigration office — pay at the counter or with revenue stamps.
3. Government24 and other online services — for certificate issuance fees.
4. Bank or post office — some fees are paid into a designated account.

Questions people ask

If my application is refused, is the fee refunded? Assessment fees are often non-refundable regardless of the outcome. Check with 1345.

Is it cash only? It varies by office. Check in advance whether cards are accepted or stamps are needed.

Can someone pay on my behalf? Sometimes, but identity documents are required. Confirm beforehand.

I lost the receipt. HiKorea's application tracking can sometimes confirm it. Ask 1345.

Take care
