Steps

1. Enrol and receive the admission certificate.
2. Apply for the visa at a Korean embassy with proof of finances.

Questions people ask

Is there an attendance threshold? Yes. Falling below it makes extension difficult and the institute reports to immigration. Check the threshold on HiKorea or with the institute.

Can I work part time? After a qualifying period and meeting the conditions, you can obtain a part-time work permit. Unauthorised work is not allowed.

Can I switch to D-2? Yes, once admitted to a university. Apply after receiving admission.
