What is the F-6 marriage migrant visa
F-6 is the status for people married to a Korean national. There are almost no employment restrictions, and after a qualifying period you can apply for permanent residence (F-5) or naturalisation.

Steps
- Complete the marriage registration in both countries.
- If applying from abroad, obtain the visa at a Korean embassy.
- Register as a foreign resident after entry.
- Apply for extension before your permit expires.
