Finding lost property
If you lose something, search lost112 first.
The sequence
- Recall where you lost it. Narrow the time and place as much as you can.
- Contact that place first — restaurant, shop, station, bus company.
- Search the police lost property site lost112.go.kr. Items nationwide are registered there.
- Report the loss at a nearby police station or box.
- Ask the lost property centre for the transport operator.
By transport type
- Subway — station customer service or the line's lost property centre.
- Bus — the bus company (knowing the vehicle number helps) or the local government.
- Taxi — enquire using the app record or the vehicle number on the receipt. See taxi-use.

- Airport — the airport lost property centre.
